Relationships Sussex Formerly Relate West Sussex
Ten Topics from the Pesso Boyden framework for trauma-informed therapeutic healing.
Relationships Sussex (formerly Relate West Sussex), has teamed up with Juliet Grayson for a powerful introduction to Pesso Boyden System of Psychotherapy (PBSP)—a body based approach to healing childhood sexual abuse.
This insightful session is scheduled for October 27th 10:00 AM-2.00 PM.
Because the impact of trauma is held in the body - as well as the mind - the healing of child sexual abuse happens most effectively when both mind and body are involved.
Juliet Grayson will be introducing you to the body-based therapy called Pesso Boyden System of Psychotherapy (PBSP) – and talking you through how this can be used for people who have experienced child sexual abuse.
Juliet will share a PBSP model: the 10 themes that commonly arise when working with people who were sexually abused as children. Juliet will be showing a few short films, which are extracts of client sessions, to give a powerful illustration of how PBSP works with the body.
Whilst recognising that the majority of people attending this talk will not be trained PBSP therapists, Juliet hopes to alert them to some of the more obscure needs of clients who are dealing with these issues.
Group bookings of 5 or more people will receive a 10% discount. Please email us to receive this discount.
