Counselling for Children & Young People

Find out more

Helping You Feel Heard and Find Your Way Forwards

What happens in a counselling session?

When you meet your counsellor, you’ll have a safe space to talk about whatever is on your mind. They won’t judge you or tell you what to do—just listen. Everything you share stays between you and your counsellor, including with your parents. Having someone to talk to who isn’t involved can help you think things through, and sometimes, just saying it out loud is the first step.

Who can have counselling?

Our team of experienced counsellors work with children and young people from age 5 to 19, offering a variety of talking, play and art therapies.

We also partner up with other agencies such as Single Point of Access (SPOA) and WSCC Therapuetic Thinking Framework

How much does counselling cost?

We are a charity and don't make a profit from the service we provide. We currently charge £50 for each children and young people's counselling session. We know that you might have concerns about the cost of living right now, and we have a variety of options available for people on lesser incomes or who might struggle to pay.
