Psychosexual Therapy – Relationships Sussex

Specialist Support for Sexual Wellbeing

Sexual concerns can affect both individuals and couples, and they’re more common than many people realise. At Relationships Sussex, our trained psychosexual therapists provide a safe, private space to talk about intimacy, desire, and sexual function without judgement

What is sex therapy?

Sex Therapy can help you navigate challenges in your sex life or simply reconnect and bring back the spark. People come to us for many different reasons — and whatever your experience, you're not alone.

Some common issues we support include:

  • Differences in sex drive between partners
  • Feeling stuck in the same routine
  • Difficulty with arousal or low desire
  • Concerns about the frequency of sex
  • Premature or delayed ejaculation
  • Difficulty reaching orgasm
  • Pain during sex
  • Sexual addiction or compulsive behaviours
  • A lack of enjoyment or connection

These are just some examples — every relationship and individual is different.

Whatever you’re facing, our experienced therapists provide a confidential, non-judgmental space to explore your concerns and work towards a more satisfying and connected sex life.

Your journey with sex therapy

After booking an appointment, you'll attend an initial consultation where your therapist will discuss what brought you to therapy and explore your concerns. If you're in a relationship, it's helpful to bring your partner along, as many sexual issues are connected to relationship dynamics.

If your counsellor feels that Sex Therapy is right for you, you'll begin regular sessions to work through your concerns. At the end of each session, your therapist will suggest practical exercises for you to try at home in a comfortable, private setting.

Your confidentiality is paramount. Everything you share in therapy is completely confidential, and your therapist will do everything possible to ensure you feel at ease and supported throughout the process

Please let everyone be clear. Touch does not form any part of proper therapy to help with sexual or relationship issues...... if a psychotherapist or counsellor tries to touch you as part of therapy, walk away and report them.
