In May, people across our community Stepped Up for Relationships to support Relationships Sussex.
Together, our fundraisers and supporters raised an incredible £1,459.
Every donation, every step and every bit of encouragement helped us make professional counselling more accessible to people who might otherwise struggle to afford it.
Thank you for being part of it.
The money raised through the May Step Up for Relationships challenge is already making a difference.
Part of the £1,459 is helping us fund our 25% summer reduction on Children and Young People counselling, helping more children and young people access professional support when they need it.
The remainder has been added to our counselling bursary fund, helping us provide subsidised counselling for people who may otherwise be unable to afford our standard fees.
This means your fundraising isn't simply helping us raise money, it's helping people access counselling.
As a not-for-profit counselling charity, we believe that financial circumstances shouldn't always be a barrier to getting support.
Our counselling bursary fund helps us offer reduced-cost counselling to people who meet our eligibility criteria, subject to available funding.
Fundraising allows us to continue building that support and respond to the needs of our local community.
Whether someone is struggling with their relationship, going through a difficult period in their life, or looking for support for their child or young person, access to professional counselling can make a real difference.
Step Up for Relationships may be over, but there are still ways to support our work.
